2023 Lexus NX450h+, coming soon

The latest generation arrived last year and now the NX models are also taking on new names and adding new hybrid versions.  Discover the 2023 NX450h+ plug-in hybrid version today!

Spinelli Lexus Lachine, your dealership in Montreal, presents the new Lexus hybrid SUV.

A powerful hybrid powertrain

With the 2023 Lexus NX450h+, you will have access to the most powerful available engine, all models included.  This is actually the same powertrain as the one found on the Toyota RAV4 Prime, which is the most performant model offered by the manufacturer after the GR Supra!

Combining a 2.5 L 4- cylinder engine with 3 electric motors –which are powered by an 18.1 kWh battery-, the Lexus hybrid offers a total of 302 horsepower.

With a total of 4 engines (1 fuel + 3 electric motors), you will have probably guessed that the powertrain is standard equipped with all-wheel drive.  Moreover, it also integrates a Trail mode, which will allow you to drive off the beaten path in full confidence.  Ready for anything, this compact SUV also offers a 2,000 pound towing capacity.

Above and beyond performance, what makes it incredibly popular is the astoundingly comfortable driving experience it offers.  Here is what Dan Heyman had to say about it in Auto123, after test driving the NX450h+ himself: “what struck me the most is how solid the vehicle is, in all situations.”

You can take advantage of even more comfort with the F Sport Series 3 package, which is offered as an added option on the Lexus NX450h+.  This package includes, amongst other things, an adaptive variable suspension as well as high-performance front and rear shock absorbers, which will make it feel as though you are driving over a cloud!

Consumption numbers and electric range

As we have come to expect on all plug-in hybrid versions, consumption numbers are significantly lower.  On highway, it is as low as 6.2 L/100 km in average, while combined consumption numbers are estimated at 6.6 L/100 km.

You can, of course, use the electric mode wisely and save even more money on fuel, thanks to an electric range that can reach up to 61 km.  You can reach full charge in about 2.5 hours on a 240 V (level 2) charging station.

Would you prefer a non-plug-in hybrid? In that case, you can opt for the NX350h model, which will provide you with 239 horsepower and a 6 L/100 km average fuel consumption number.

A luxurious interior

This generation of the NX has been improved in order to offer an even more welcoming interior, especially when it comes to rear passengers for whom head clearance and legroom is more generous than ever.  With the Lexus NX450h+ they will also enjoy heated rear seats, amongst other things.  For front passengers seats are heated and ventilated as well.

Moreover, seats are leather upholstered and the driver will benefit from superior comfort, thanks to a driver’s seat with 4- way lumbar support and memory function.

The interior design is also enhanced thanks to dark Prism decorative trims and ambient lighting with 64 color options, which are classified in 14 different themes, like “Tropical Forest”, “Cascade” or “Sunset”, for example.

On top of the luxurious interior, this small SUV offers generous space, providing you with 643 liters of cargo space in the trunk alone, and 1,328 liters in total.

Cutting-edge technologies

The most striking new technology is the Lexus Interface which includes a 14- inch touch screen as standard equipment on this model!  You will also find several standard offered features such as:

  • Lexus Assistant
  • Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
  • A 3 year trial for Drive Connect (navigation and assistant)
  • Safety Connect
  • And much more.

Instrumentation is digital as well, allowing you to see information very clearly.  This can also turn into a 10- inch Head-up Display with the Executive package or the F Sport Series 3 package.  Take note that these packages offer loads of added features, both in terms of design and technologies.

As for Driver Assist technologies, Lexus integrates the latest generation of the LSS system (Lexus Safety System), the LSS+ 3.0.  A wide array of features allow you to drive with complete peace of mind, including during turns, thanks to:

  • Left Turn Oncoming Vehicle Detection & Braking
  • Emergency Braking Assistance
  • Dynamic Cruise Control with Curve Speed Management
  • Right/Left Turn Oncoming Pedestrian Detection

The vehicle is capable of detecting pedestrians, cyclists and motorcycles so as to prevent imminent collisions.  The system will also help you in your driving experience with technologies such as Road Sign Recognition, and lots more.

With loads of technologies, luscious comfort and outstanding performance, the all-new 2023 Lexus NX450h+ will certainly knock your socks off.  While you are impatiently waiting for it to become available at your Lexus dealership in Lachine, come and discover the 2022 models we already have in inventory, in Montreal!
