Here are the different engines according to version:

The IS 300 version’s 4- cylinder engine is coupled with an 8- speed automatic transmission, while the IS 300 AWD and IS 350 AWD versions rely on a 6- speed automatic transmission, and the IS 500 V8 comes with the 8- speed Direct Shift automatic transmission.  Apart from the IS 300 RWD and IS 500, the other two are equipped with all-wheel drive.
